Safety & Care Info

CANDLES

For first use, please allow an initial 4 hour burn time for the first burn of these candles. This will ensure an even burn pool thereafter.  Trim your wicks back to 5mm before each use to ensure a clean, even burn, every time. 

Wooden Wicks are a bit different from a traditional cotton wick- they burn longer, cleaner, and have a cozy crackling ambiance. but they do require a bit of extra care. here are our tips and tricks to get the most out of your sable candle:

1. Always trim your wick before each use, removing all charred wood from previous burns. if you don’t, the wick may not stay lit long enough to fuel the flame, causing it to extinguish itself. to trim a wooden wick remove all charred wood.

2. Make sure to allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter of your candle on the first burn- this helps prevent tunneling, which can impact how well the candle burns.

 

WAX MELTS

Only Use a Wax Burner with 4 Hour Tealights or an electric warmer.

Unsure how to remove your wax ready for the next burn? 2 ways:

1. if you already have molten wax, use cotton wool balls to soak up the remainder and you can crack on with your next melt right away!

2. if you wax is hard, light a tealight for 30 seconds, wait for the melt to start heating up and gently loosen the hard melt away from the dish, it should remove in one piece!

All UK orders are sent via one of the following methods which you can choose at the checkout.
  • Royal Mail 48 Tracked - £3.75 - (2-4 business days after despatch)
  • Royal Mail 24 Tracked - £4.75 - (1-3 business days after despatch)

    * Please note during busy times (Christmas, Black Friday etc.) there can be delays with the postal service depending on your area so please allow extra time for delivery.

    Please contact us if you are outside of the UK and are interested in placing an order.
    Returns
    As a small business we are unable to offer free returns at this stage. However, if your product arrives faulty or broken then we will offer a replacement or a refund.
     
    We do accept returns/refunds for:
    • Items that have arrived damaged.
    • Faulty wax warmers.

    If you return an item outside of it's original packaging then we won't be able to offer a refund, but will instead offer a gift card to use on our website.

    If you would like to return something to us then in the first instance please email sales@majesticoven.com with your order number, the nature of your problem and any supporting photos. If in the unlikely event your order is missing any items then we need a photo of the products you received, the invoice and the packaging it arrived in. 

    We do not accept returns/refunds for:

    • Sample pots as these are samples of our larger products.
    • Wax melts and candles that have been used or partially used.
    • Wax melts that you don't like the scent of. Scent is subjective 
    • Products where the fees have been donated to a charity or good cause.

    I think my order has been lost in the post

    If 21 days have elapsed since your order was despatched (UK only) and your order hasn't arrived, and your tracking number hasn't updated with any relevant information then we will look into your delivery further and organise an appropriate solution.
